If you are an experienced Unix user currently using Windows, you likely miss the command completion feature of the Unix command line interface. To enable this in Windows, simply open up the registry and search for the string completionchar
. For each instance of a key with this name, change its value to 9
(the ASCII code of the TAB
key). Now you will be able to use the TAB
key to complete filenames from the Windows command line interface.
torti:~ tot$ echo "the most important thing is the content"
[Windows] auto completamento usando TAB da cmd
